This Darling ice cream shop is family owned and operated. Joe and Ramie are a husband and wife team with a couple kids, another ice cream shop, and a bunch of ideas. Joe has been making ice cream since he was 19 years old and together with a team of good humans, we all work hard to make the world a little sweeter.

Darling is named for our Auntie Dar. She was simply one of the most interesting, funniest, and boldest people we all were honored to love. Being brave + a little different was her jam. Her energy + her love were game changers. Her love of ice cream was unchallenged. She was also diagnosed with breast cancer at 39. In her honor, Darling donates a portion of every sale to a non-profit that serves women in our community.

Darling is the sister location of Sweet Scoops Homemade Ice Cream - our sweet shop located on Sonoma Plaza. That location features a rotating menu - flavors change often so that there is always something new to try.

As a family and as a team, we love scooping up joy for the community that we live in. And that’s simply the truth. xx
